I like the Dave Casper add. Just not enough for me so far to attend. If they were giants players say like Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora or Brandon Jacobs I would seriously consider it. Baseball hall of famers I already have as well and like the previous posts said very recently. Going to be tough for me to make this event in anyway probably sadly. The wife's due date for our first baby is March 3rd

I will be there Saturday if you need something done...

Over the years I've done the 1950's Topps sets multiple times from EX to Mint. 53, 56 and 58 are my favorites with 1953 coming in first for their beautiful artistry that resembles photography so closely.

The March show looks like it's off to a good start.

A few suggestions:

Bert Blyleven - Easier to get him before the season starts and his announcing responsibilities begin. Hasn't surfaced much.
Tony LaRussa - Other than in Cooperstown, hasn't done an east coast show in a few years. Has never done a JP's show
Joe Carter - Never see him surface, and maybe it's because he just isn't interested. Never hear him mentioned much.
Mike Stanton - ex Yankee/Met lefty pitcher
Jim Abbott - I know you guys have tried, and I thank you for keeping at it
Gary Sheffield
Vlad Guerrero
Rollie Sheldon
Art Ditmar

Hi Jim/Ryan:

Seems like you guys have been going heavy with football lately. Must be doing well with it, congrats. One thing I always hoped you might do for one of these shows is revisit some of your previous "reunion" shows to fill in some of the gaps for players and coaches who might not have been available. Particularly, I attended the 1994 Rangers (one of the greatest shows ever) and your most recent 1969 Mets and Jets shows and am still chasing some of the guys who didn't attend.

Particularly, I am hoping at some future show to see:

1994 NY Rangers
  • Craig MacTavish...his role is diminished in Edmonton. Might have more free time. Won 4 Stanley Cups.
  • Mike Hudson..claims he wasn't asked to the reunion (via a twitter conversation)
  • Ed Olczyk
  • Colin Campbell (Coach)..was a player and NYR Head Coach too, might still be local with his NHL job.
  • Dick Todd (Coach)...ok, a bit of a stretch, but I need him
  • Neil Smith (GM)...I think he might even be NY based these days. Definitely wasn't asked to reunion

Reason for the coaches/GM...they are pictured in a lot of the post-game photos. I'm sort of a completest.

1969 NY Mets

  • Jerry Koosman
  • Gary Gentry
  • Ken Boswell
  • JC Martin
  • Rod Gaspar
  • Bobby Pfeil

I know some of these guy are not really doing shows any longer, but it can't hurt to ask.

The Jets list I would have to look at again...don't have it handy.

Thanks guys.

Some prices up for the March show...gotta say, Stephen Baker for $25 is a stretch...he does so many local appearances that I can't see much interest..Howard Cross seems high as well..LT looks appropriate and Alford as free guest looks good. Hopefully some well price football HOFers to be added...and rollback on Eck for all items...Cheers

After cancelling from the MAB show, looks like Tom Gordon was added to JP's in March.

I'm anxious to see the pricing for Niekro. Potentially rollback pricing? - would be in for a few items.

Looks like Saturday is football and Sunday baseball.

Since Hofstra has become the JP's Met show and White Plains the JP's Yankee show, hoping for a few Yankees to be added. Plenty of Yankees suggestions listed above. 😀

well have to find a yogi ball and start a 1973 champ ball or maybe a mays ball instead but "claps hands " listing and prices can not say anything bad about that,,, now lets see some of the tough guys if you can NOT bring in seaver or Mays then bring in to harder guys from th world series team capra is nice as in stone for those who do not do ttm but to do the team thing they are very much needed ....... lets see ya bring Apodaca ya his rook year also tough

Hank Webb
ken Boswell
Ted Martinez
Don Hahn
greg harts
Lute Barnes

wow so many of this team is gone I did not realize 8 guys from the roster WOW ok scratch the team ball idea as a reg met fan the guys mentioned are needed along with the other tough guys ya all know who they are.... I will look to see what I can find with 1973 on it just forgot that Harry Parker Ray Sadeaki and Jim Fergosi were on this dang team along with John Milner ...... dang it

should find a starter something somewhere there is pleanty of time with a few of the gone guys on it

Here is an update on some of the Mets you requested

Jerry Koosman - Trying
Gary Gentry - Can't Locate right now, have had in the past three or four times
Ken Boswell - Won't travel anymore
JC Martin - Won't travel anymore
Rod Gaspar -Only if he is on the East Coast at the time, had him once when it worked out
Bobby Pfeil - Won't travel anymore

We tried to get all of these names last year for the Met's show we did and have tried some of them for years to no avail.
