Jim, on your website you say in print that some names and pictures would be posted "next week." Next week was last week and here we are into the second day of the week after "next week" with nothing posted. I know I shouldn't even post this because JP's not updating the website when they say they will is by now just so common place as to be the norm but I thought, you know, just sayin'. Ah, forget it. I will bug you again in July if you haven't posted though.

Jim is in Florida laying his brother to rest. When he gets home he will update the site. It's only May 9th.

My deepest sympathy, Jim. Unfortunately, I too know the heart break and pain of laying a brother to rest. You will be in my prayers.

I took a road trip out to the Main Line Pittsburgh show today for a few signatures. Had a nice conversation with Jimmy and bobbydmetsfan. Got to pepper Jimmy with about 20 rapid fire questions, and he provided some great insight into the process (and showed a lot of patience). I can guarantee you one thing...he understands the collectors want of new names, and is out there trying but there are a variety of issues that come up as discussed in previous threads. He gave many specific examples of players we collectively have requested that he just can't get to budge due to money, health, lack of interest, etc. But he is listening and doing what he can. So keep up the great work Jimmy and know that its really appreciated.

There was a flyer for the East Coast National, which I have lost, but I do remember the 5 Mets names on it:

Older names: Gooden, Grote, Staub
Current Mets: Addison Reed, Travis d'Arnaud

He mentioned a couple of other names that I won't say because I don't think the deals are 100% done, but they were both high quality. Hope they come to pass for this show and I am sure he will be getting on here to update us all soon enough.

Yes!
Great time talking about the hobby, how people sign or don't sign as we ask them, and baseball in general. The show was also really, really good.

Jimmy told me he would be updating the site, probably this week, and there are some really good names that he mentioned both football, and baseball.

He did say to me though, that Reed and d'Arnaud would NOT be at the show.

brilis,

Clearly, it's your meds.
It's 2 different posts, by 2 different people.
When you're back to normal, go back and read it again, and you won't be confused.
