Some more names..

Chuck Knoblauch - Perhaps his asking price would come down for the August White Plains show, given that he figures to be in town for the Yankees 1998 Reunion Celebration
David Justice
Randy Velarde
Bobby Abreu
Phil Niekro
Rollie Sheldon - willing to do more signings, re: age?
Art Ditmar - willing to do more signings, re: age?

Ideas for appealing ex-Yankee freebies (either for this or future shows)
Rudy May - 3.12 ERA in 7 years, over 800 IP with Yankees - led Yankee pitchers in WAR thru many of the "lean" years
Butch Wynegar - Caught Dave Righetti's No-Hitter, last of the no-hit Yankee catchers I need since you brought in Matt Notes last year
Bob Wickman - Very nice signature, 267 career saves,
Kevin Maas
Joba Chamberlain

Also, what's the deal with Vlad Guerrero? Any insight as to why he has yet to make a public appearance since the HOF announcement? He did make several appearances post his playing days. I meant to ask Mead at the show this weekend. Thanks.

And in case something has changed and they're willing to travel to the east coast...of course Jim Abbott / Steve Sax

Please, just do something to beef up the already announced lineup. Weaker than a new born baby.

Reader- Always complaining about something. Why don't you do this and Jimmy will sign off on this too. I won't be there on Saturday due to my son's confirmation. You come to the show around 930 we will let you in early on Sunday, free of course.

You can pick what guests you see fit well for future show(s)
You will see the $ and how we get the guests and how much money is spent and how we try to gain revenue like any normal business in this country. We will let you be involved in the process. You will be involved in every aspect.

If that doesn't work, I will cancel one of my weekend baseball practices here in the next 2 weeks ( yes I coach a travel baseball team that is pretty good) we can meet up in our Long Island office. I think you live out that way. We will get a nice lunch and you can pick the players that you think will work. We can do it for the Hofstra show.

How about supporting the show instead of dumping on the show. Because as much as you complain and not get what you see is right, the show will go on. It will profit and we won't be going out of business anytime soon. Because Bill Short (who you need on your Yankee clock) doesn't come through the door, the show automatically sucks in your eyes!

I have been partners with Jimmy I think close to 12 years now. I have met you once. So all the guests that have come through our doors over the years just once. But that's more than majority of the people on this site.

How about Erik Howard? He's the only guy from the '86 Giants I still need
On November 13, Felix Unger was asked to remove himself from his place of residence; that request came from his wife. Deep down, he knew she was right, but he also knew that some day he would return to her. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the home of his friend, Oscar Madison. Several years earlier, Madison's wife had thrown HIM out, requesting that HE never return. Can two divorced men share an apartment without driving each other crazy?

Ryan

Just curious… I am a consistent customer… I go to at least two or three of your shows a year…. I consistently make suggestions, but I never get a response.

What gives?

Since everyone is putting out their wants and suggestions...

I'm hoping JP continues to bring in Mets players who may not have a ring, but meant a great deal to fans who've followed the team for many, many years. My short list would be Doug Flynn (who has posted on Twitter that he'd like to come back to NYC soon for a fan event), Steve Henderson (no longer coaching, so maybe he has some time), Ron Hunt (been a while since we've seen the Mets first All-Star starter), Craig Swan (a toughie, but that'd be a huge get), Robin Ventura (I'd get 3 sigs just on Grand Slam Single items), and Turk Wendell (an all time fan favorite who I don't believe has ever done a signing in the NYC area).

Additionally, any chance of bringing in 1994 Ranger Eddie Olczyk? He's had health issues but appears to be on the mend. Among the 1994 team, he's been hard to get.

Looking forward to the show!

A few more tougher Met autos added.

Junior Ortiz
Jerry Morales

Trying for Henderson for last three years, Swan has relocated to Florida and told us he doesn't want to travel back here. We had him in the past when he lived in CT

Reaching out to Ron Hunt

Robin Venture turned us down and the offer was a lot of money. He just doesn't have interest

That's great, Jim.

A nice surprise for us older Mets fans. Keep it up. (please)

Thanks for trying on Henderson/Ventura/Swan. All you can do is ask.

If you manage to get Ron Hunt-----I'm buying you lunch!

A few more names to add to the hopeful list.......

Cliff Floyd-----I figure since he works on the MLB channel, and it's in NY, he may be easier to get
Rick Reed and or Bobby Jones
Mike Cameron
Vince Coleman

Thanks again.......
