Jim, great hard to get guests!...have you evaluated doing a show in NJ?

Ryan,

I was hoping you guys would get Mariano back one more time before the HOF. I really don’t want to get him with GTSM. Aside from that, any info on Brosius? Really need him. I hear he gives his asking price to charity.

That's great, Jim.

A nice surprise for us older Mets fans. Keep it up. (please)

Thanks for trying on Henderson/Ventura/Swan. All you can do is ask.

If you manage to get Ron Hunt-----I'm buying you lunch!

A few more names to add to the hopeful list.......

Cliff Floyd-----I figure since he works on the MLB channel, and it's in NY, he may be easier to get
Rick Reed and or Bobby Jones
Mike Cameron
Vince Coleman

Thanks again.......

Put Ron Hunt on the scrap heap. He is done, he has the shakes per him. I called him this afternoon

Hello Everyone

Spoke with Jerry Koosman, looks like he is done doing signings also. All these guys are getting older and just can't do it anymore

Hey guys. If you’re reaching out to obscure Mets or Yanks, here’s a few suggestions.

Jerry Buchek
Bill Sudakis Met/Yank
Roy Staiger Met/Yank
Kelvin Chapman
Hubie Brooks
Dave Mlicki-pitched shutout first Subway Series
Mark Carreon

Maybe your Latino connection can get
Pepe Mangual
Sergio Ferrer
Luis Rosado
Ricky Otero
Rey Sanchez Met/Yank

Jim - how about some Reds? I feel like it’s been a while since Johnny Bench and Pete Rose have surfaced. You guys are all about anniversary celebrations (a la Joe Carter/Mitch Williams) - 2018 is the 50 year anniversary !! since Johnny Bench won his ROY and first of 10 gold gloves. 55 years since Pete Rose was ROY.

Ken Griffey Sr would be an appropriate free signer on the same day that Rose/Bench were scheduled - plus he’d appeal to the Yankee fan in the NY area.

I'm right there with you, we reached out to Pete Rose he is unavailable the Hofstra weekend. I have been begging the agent for Johnny Bench for three years now. He has always been unavailable. I do see he is doing Chicago and Chantilly so maybe we will get our turn with him soon.

Lou,

Would love to get Hubie Brooks in, I have exhausted all the contacts and agents I know, no one can seem to get to him. We will keep trying for him. We are also trying real hard for Steve Hendesom.

I know when Potter has his signing with Hubie he had a dual signing with Lee Lacy. Maybe reach out to him. I’m sure you know bettter than most that sometimes these guys don’t want to be bothered with a signing. Thanks for the continued effort guys.

This also sucks. The hits just keep comin'

Again, appreciate the efforts and the honesty. I'm sure you guys will keep it interesting moving forward. I'm always going to hold out for one last hurrah for the old timers. That's just me. Maybe next year, the planets will align that the Mets hold a 50th reunion for the '69 Miracle Mets on the same weekend you are holding the East Coast National or a Plainview show and you can pull off miracle of your own with the holdouts like Koosman, JC Martin, Gaspar and Boswell if they are in town anyway.

In any event, keep up the good work. It seems like its a thankless job at times...so thanks!
