Hi all:

I am in the midst of doing a complete redesign of SigningsHotline.com. It will be a much more enjoyable browsing experience, especially on mobile.

For promoters, banner prices have been considerably reduced. There are is another free option for selling goods as well.

Please check out the testing site. I would appreciate any comments as well well as any bugs you may find.

Here it is

Looks clean. Will there be a mobile app too? When do you anticipate completing the build.

Good job!

Yes to a mobile app. But may be a bit off. I am hoping for January 1. May be pushing it.

Just a note - since the site upgrade, just about every time I quote a post, it automatically gets butchered with a bunch symbols. My posts are always made from an iPad or an iPhone.

I think it might have something to do with posts being defaulted to BBC Code format ?

It’s definitely still happening for me every time I quote someone’s post (see this one for example), or when I edit a post (which is even worse), For this reason I’ve stopped editing my posts, and just let the spelling/grammatical errors remain.

Again, this issue started with the site re-design, and I am always either posting on either an Apple iPad or iPhone.

Thanks

Yep, that’s exactly what is happening.

Anytime when trying to quote a post, or edit a post, it displays in BBC Code

I was trying to find the setting for this with no luck. Did you intentionally set your account this way?

Looks like I figured it out !

I had to disable the rich text editor under my profile settings.

It must not like Safari too much.
