After a successful weekend at the ECN, figured it was time to start lobbying Jimmy and Ryan for the upcoming events in October. I'll save my Mets requests for the Hofstra thread.

My 2 requests for White Plains

Jim Turner (Kicker, Super Bowl III Jets).
Was told he had dementia, but that proved wrong as he appeared last season at the Jets Super Bowl Reunion weekend, where he was one of 3 featured guests and answered most of the questions. Of course, I missed it as he wasn't advertised.

Neil Smith (General Manager, 1994 New York Rangers)
I need 3 guys to finish a project I have been working on for 25 years. He's the only one I believe is in the area. One of these days, he has to show up somewhere.

Here’s some more suggestions:

- Steve Sax - Former Yankees 2x All Star and ROY, hasn’t done an east coast signing since the 2008 ASG FanFest
- Rudy May - Underrated Yankee Pitcher, friend of JP’s I know you’ve had him before. He’s a good freebie option
- Randy Velarde - Would love to see him surface
- David Justice - I’m sure he’ll be on the show circuit in the near future with the 20th anniversary of the 2000 WSC team nearing next year. Plus, MC Sports had him in Cooperstown and you book a lot of Mead clients. He cancelled from your first ever booking at Hofstra in 2015.
- Butch Wynegar - We’ve discussed him on this thread in the past, and you acknowledged interest in him as a potential freebie. He’s the last of the no hit Yankee catchers I need on my piece, would make for a nice combo with Dave Righetti for those that need him.
- Ken Griffey Sr - Freebie option
- Kevin Maas - Freebie option
- Phil Niekro - Cancelled with you a few years back and has never been rescheduled

- Randy Johnson - MAB pulled him from the JP’s show last August, would like to see him surface over time with you
- Jim Edmonds
- Edgar Martinez - Reschedule?
- Larry Walker

Is this one usually a baseball heavy show?

There’s usually a strong baseball representation, as is the case with all JP’s Shows.

The November show is typically the smallest show overall since it overlaps with Thanksgiving Weekend.

The March show is typically the smallest re: baseball, as it can be challenging to attract baseball autograph signers since many are busy with Spring Training. But still, they typically do a good job and have strong baseball representation at all shows.

First names up on the site today. By the looks of it, the '86 Mets are getting the call. They are all on Saturday according to the print under each name, although they show up under the Sunday Autograph title as well, so keep an eye on nyshows.org for the latest.

Sid Fernandez
Bruce Berenyi
Rafael Santana
Doug Sisk
Terry Leach

Also
Greg Olson is free on Saturday.

Good start for Mets fans. If JPRS is going '86, Aguilera and Heep are the 2 that haven't been around since the last major reunion (Steiner Store, January 2016), not including Stan Jefferson, who will never show up and Randy Myers, who shows up occasionally but not in New York. Jimmy, did you ever get anywhere with him? MAB brought him into Kentucky once...maybe Mollie can help get him to NY.

This is a strange list of '69 Mets. Mostly, because Les Rohr was the only guy who got into a game for '69 Mets, and that was exactly 1 game. Some of these guys never even played for the Mets, and some of them never even got to the majors. JPRS did have Teddy Martinez about 18 months ago. Maybe they could bring him in again. Jorgensen would be a good one too.
